A born and raised Texan! Ava relocated to Austin from San Antonio to pursue her academic journey at the University of Texas at Austin, focusing on Advertising and Interior Design. Anticipating her graduation in May 2026, she is actively honing her skills in social media management and event programming at DSACT.
A dedicated community servant since her youth, Ava has contributed as a Girl Scout, PAL, NHS, and MacTeach member. These experiences have fostered a profound connection with the disability community, cultivated through numerous volunteer engagements and event coordination initiatives.
Currently, at DSACT, Ava collaborates with Julia to organize programs and maintain an updated social media presence. She aspires to enhance the interactivity and relevance of social media platforms while introducing innovative program ideas to DSACT soon.
Outside her commitments, Ava finds joy in walks with her dog Cowboy around Austin, embarking on trips with friends and family, and indulging in her passion for baking during her free time.
