DSACT recreation programs are an important part of what we offer to support individuals with Down syndrome across all ages! These programs promote healthy habits, wellness, socialization, and skills development. We offer a variety of programs that cater to different age groups and interests.

Offerings include programs like soccer, kayaking, book club, performing arts, floral arranging, music, line dancing, choir, movement classes, and so much more! These programs are typically scheduled for one hour per week, allowing members to engage with the same group of participants and instructors, fostering a strong sense of community. Most programs run for 6-8 weeks, although we also offer occasional single session programs.

Stay up-to-date with the latest programs by becoming a member and subscribing to our regular newsletters. If you have an idea for a new recreation program, please email Programs and Events Manager, Julia Forslund!
